IT HAPPENS IN ITALY - WHAT THE LAW SAYS: NOT ONLY "GREEN BONUS"
Given that to be entitled to "Green Bonus" (deduction of 36%) are only green roofs covering terraces, balconies and gardens, the Italian regulation 2018 has however introduced other innovations in the field of building permits. Works on balconies, terraces, gardens and private outdoor spaces including the installation, repair, replacement or renewal of awnings, pergola curtains, pergotende and light furniture covers, interventions deemed to be simple furnishing accessory of the external space don’t need permits anymore. Gazebos and pergolas, as long as they are of limited size and not permanently fixed to the ground, are free building permits, too.
The arrangement of these structures on terraces, elevations or in appurtenant spaces for private use does not even require the landscape pass, unless they have a permanent nature, are open on several sides and with a surface not exceeding 30 square meters (simplified landscape authorization). "Our Precious Tent division - explains Roberto Rescia, CEO of CoverHat - deals with the creation of works such as gazebos, winter gardens, structures to decorate gardens and terraces in precious materials and with sophisticated and customizable designs. The absence of limitations for their implementation is an important plus for those who want to enrich their houses with structures that are highly liveable and have a great aesthetic impact ".
