Made with eco-sustainable and 100% natural paints, capable of purifying the air, Hunting Pollution, made by the street artist Federico Massa, better known as Iena Cruz, is not only the largest Mural in Europe, but it is an excellence on the path to a sustainable world. Supported and conceived by the non-profit Yourban2030, the work was made using special paints, produced by the company Airlite, that reduce atmospheric pollution. "A form of coverage" definitely unconventional - explains Roberto Rescia, CEO of CoverHat - but that makes us understand how materials are the elements on which to invest in order to plan our future in the sign of green". The green attitude of the work comes from the contrasts between the theme of the mural and materials of construction: on the one hand, a tricolor heron catches its prey in a heavily polluted sea, on the other it is the murals itself that hunts the pollution in one of the busiest and most polluted intersections in Rome. A process that is possible thanks to the eco-paintings used which, by exploiting the action of natural or artificial light, eliminate polluting agents thus transforming the wall of the building in a natural air purifier. Based on these characteristics, Hunting Pollution can be considered not only as the first urban regenerative street art work that will open the way to a series of other achievements resulting from the environmental sustainability awareness, the project promoted by Yourban2030, but also as the beginning of its collaboration with Air is Art, no-profit organization led by Kristen Grove. Air is Art, promoting since 2017 the fusion between sustainable art and cultural communities through the involvement of artists, designers and illustrators, aims to put creativity at the service of the air, a common good whose quality is functional to collective well-being.
