Sport facilities usually have an air handling unit only for winter heating with monobloc generators equipped with a combustion chamber capable of treating large quantities of air moved by centrifugal fans through direct heat exchange. The burners can be fed with different types of fuels. The heat output is controlled through the main electronic board that manage the mode of operation, fuel consumption and the mixing between the external and recirculated internal air.

The structures covered with membranes are totally comparable to traditional buildings and the air conditioning systems can provide the same performance for winter heating and summer cooling, with fine humidity regulation and technological sophistication of all kinds that involve most important economic investments.
